We are happy to share that Umni will participate in the 17th Black Sea Tourism Forum on the theme "Green and Digital Transition - Challenges and Opportunities for Tourism Development", organized by the Varna Tourism Chamber on 17-18 October. Our CEO, Elitza Stoilova, will be a speaker in the panel on Digitalization of the hotel and tour operator business model together with Prof. Dr. Stanislav Ivanov from Varna University of Management, Veselina Popova (Hotel Cherno More), Lyubomir Stamboliiski (St. Constantine and Elena Holding JSC) and other industry representatives, moderated by Prof. Dr. Stoyan Marinov. The panel's focus will be the trends of digitalization in the industry, the hotel business model, and the role of tour operators. Elitza will contribute to the panel not only with the results of the successful hotel AI chatbots on the Umni platform, but also as a hotel industry professional with over 20 years of experience outside Bulgaria in positions such as marketing director, general manager of a hotel and destination marketing consultant. The forum will be attended by tourism business representatives, NGOs, municipalities, government institutions and educational institutions. The forum presents theoretical ideas and pragmatic proposals for using green and digital transformations to develop a sustainable, competitive and efficient destination tourism business. Digital transformation is changing tourism regarding processes, operations, products, staff work, the business model of tourism enterprises, and the tourist experience, and is becoming a crucial factor for the competitiveness, sustainability and resilience of the tourism industry.

🎉I am excited to announce that I have obtained a new certificate: Artificial Intelligence Algorithms [Applications to Real Data Using Python], via Hellenic Open University. During this period, we took a view on statistic and data science, we learned how to apply machine learning using regression, classification and clustering methods. Also we were lucky to view how our life is going to be changed (it has already changed) with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs). To not forget to mention that Chat GPT is a very supportive "friend" to complete our tasks and needs.  Until now, we had the motto "If you don't know or you are not sure for something, just google it". Now, AI tools are the next big thing to change our life. 🙌 I would like to thank our trainers Dimitris Panaretos and John Makris as well. Another school year is underway with the initiative "Exploring the IT sector II" captivating the interest of even more students! 🔍 Through this, students from 20 junior and senior high schools across Greece engage in live group sessions with employees from Netcompany-Intrasoft who share insights about the IT sector and the career prospects within it.
